LSM First Year Curriculum

  • Systematic Theology 101

When most Christians approach theology, the temptation is to just say, "I get my theology from scripture." And while that statement is true, it isn't the whole truth. Most Christians know some theological truths, but they don't know where that truth can be found in scripture or how those passages applied to original Biblical audiences. This course will lay a foundation of understanding theology and scripture through exploring the concepts of God, Creation, Spirit, Sin, Christology, and the Doctrine of Humanity.

  • Bible Exegesis, Interpretation and Application

This course is an introduction on how to accurately engage with and handle the Word of Truth. The course will help the student to acquire a set of skills and ideas in both the spirit and mind that causes students to develop an interpretive method that is consistent with Scripture’s self-understanding.
